The Chasen S2 suspension lamp provides diffused lighting through use of a chemically photo-etched stainless steel body and borosilicate diffuser. The amount of light able to be provided is changed through use of the mechanically-adjustable louvers. As the louvers open and close, the shape and dimensions of the lamp change as well. A steel suspension cable and a power cord that is the same color as the lamp round out the design.
