The Council Chair was designed in 2011 by Kasper Salto and Thomas Sigsgaard for the Trusteeship Council Chamber at the U.N. Headquarters in New York. The chair is well-thought out, shaped specifically with the human body in mind and made in form-pressed patented 3D veneer. Since the chair was designed for the ‘secretaries table’ in the Trusteeship Council Chamber it is crafted to ensure comfort throughout a long day.
Furthermore, the chair nicely complements good architecture, well-designed interiors and is thus ideal for the executive offices, VIP conference facilities, hotels and restaurants as well as private use for dining and working.
